Bitcoin casino KYC requirements - do BTC-only deposits skip identity verification completely

Been playing crypto casinos since 2018 and noticed different KYC policies across sites. Some require full verification regardless of deposit method, others seem more relaxed with Bitcoin.

Specific question: If I deposit $2,000 in Bitcoin at places like Wild Casino or BetWhale, do they require identity documents before letting me withdraw? Or is the KYC threshold higher for crypto-only players?

Trying to understand if the "anonymous" aspect of Bitcoin actually translates to anonymous gambling, or if these sites still follow traditional casino verification protocols.

Most still require KYC above certain thresholds, even with Bitcoin deposits. Wild Casino asked for my ID when I hit $1,500 in withdrawals total - didn't matter that I'd been depositing BTC for months.

BetOnline was different though. Made several $800-1,200 Bitcoin withdrawals over 6 months without any verification requests. Seems like each site sets their own limits.

The "anonymous" Bitcoin thing is mostly marketing. These casinos still operate under US gambling regulations in most cases, so they're required to verify players above certain amounts.

Ignition Casino required full KYC after my third Bitcoin withdrawal, even though each was under $1,000. They said it was based on cumulative activity, not individual transactions. Document approval took 2 days, then withdrawals went back to normal 4-6 hour processing.

Depends on the casino's license and where they operate from. Some offshore Bitcoin casinos have much higher KYC thresholds - I've seen $5,000+ before they ask for documents.

But if you're playing at US-facing sites like Cafe Casino or Super Slots, expect verification requests around $1,000-2,000 in total withdrawals. The Bitcoin part just makes the actual transaction faster, doesn't change their compliance requirements.

Had this exact situation at Slots.lv last month. Deposited $1,800 in Bitcoin, won $3,200, then hit the KYC wall when trying to withdraw.

They wanted passport, utility bill, and a selfie holding my ID. Took 5 business days to approve everything. The Bitcoin withdrawal itself was instant once verified, but the verification process killed the "anonymous" experience completely.

Seems like Bitcoin just speeds up the money movement, not the identity requirements.
